Founded in 2022 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Float Research Collective (FRC) is dedicated to establishing worldwide acceptance of Floatation-REST (Reduced Environmental Stimulation Therapy) as a natural treatment for pain, stress, anxiety, and other related conditions. Under the leadership of Dr. Justin Feinstein, FRC is pioneering research to position floatation therapy as a viable alternative to conventional medical treatments, directly challenging the reliance on highly addictive substances like benzodiazepines and opioids.
Current Initiatives
Project Arcturus is a ground-breaking global initiative by the Float Research Collective, designed to conduct the largest-ever study of floatation therapy. This ambitious project aims to gather and analyze data from over 100 float centers worldwide to explore and validate the therapeutic benefits of floating.
Maui Calm Project responds to Maui's mental health crisis following devastating fires by offering free Clinical Float Therapy. Utilizing portable float centers built into shipping containers, this project provides immediate, non-invasive support for trauma, anxiety, and PTSD to residents near Lahaina.
